A lot of folks out there want to be attorneys – and many finally got their wish, finding employment in some capacity in the law. Many then find that there isn’t anything philosophically glamorous about legal affairs. It isn’t a matter of debating right and wrong then, but which rule applies where and when. Depending on the exact circumstances, oftentimes there are no set rules beyond some amount that must be taken, measured in terms of credits (yes, just like in school). A typical case would be for a professional or paraprofessional to earn three credits in two years’ time, oftentimes with no strict stipulation as to the subject areas that must be pursued. A nurse may choose to focus on patient-side topics instead of strictly scientific ones having to do with biochemical facts, for example.
